1. You can explore how to change and manage things within your blog at http://edublogs.org/videos/
2. Add pictures to your blog.

4. Explore teacher-tube and add videos to your blog. Some examples of embedding videos are:-
- students projects can be created and showcased
- teachers can post notes, resources,
- Students can collaborate to build glossaries, thesaurus…

Choose your own blogging PD at Teachertube
1. Set up a blog
There are many bogging sites available. I like used Edublogs and Global teacher, as they are fairly easy and versatile. Whichever you choose, you need to apply, and then you should receive an activation email. When you receive this, you can login and start using your blog. Activation can take a while, mine have been almost instant but I believe they can take up to 30min. In the down time explore the links listed above.
Make sure you record your login and password
Choose one and follow the steps.

to get to your blog –
• You can type in your blog address which will be like http://(xxxx).globalteacher.org.au xxxx=is the unique name you entered in Step 2, i.e. http://maryslearning.globalteacher.com.
• You will be able to login to your blog using the ’site admin’ or ‘meta’ area on your blog.
Save your blog to your bookmarks or favourites so you can return to it easily.
2. Write
Write your very first post on your blog – you can wipe it later if you wish.
On your “About” page introduce yourself…you can change the title…or explain what the blog is for. Simply go to the admin site of your blog (sometimes also called ‘meta’), login and this will bring you to your dashboard. Click ‘write’, and create a post.
